November Surprise: The Votemaster is Andrew Tanenbaum
The Votemaster, the man behind the electoral-vote.com site that has become impressively popular finally revealed his True Name. He’s Andrew Tanenbaum.
Yes, the famous Andrew Tanenbaum.
That’s a lot of cognitive dissonance for me. He certainly did a very good job of disguising his writing… or at least my mind did a good job of projecting a lot that wasn’t there.
The biggest surprise of the election, as far as I’m concerned.

Although I can see how this would surprising for someone very familiar with Tanenbaum, where does the cognitive dissonance come in? It’s an interesting revelation, but personally, it hardly changed the way I looked at the electoral-vote site.

Maybe his HTTP headers don’t list an OS, because he doesn’t want to admit to running Linux.

Yeah - are you surprised he’s a Kerry supporter?

I remember following his text books for operating system and networks when i was doing graduation.. It indeed is such a surprise for me.. I would certainly say that he has excelled more than one field in his life and not many persons are as gifted as him.

Looks like Professor Tanenbaum, like most of the liberal media (CNN, CBS, ABC, NPR, etc…) based his “research” on wishful thiking rather than real data.
His site is completely off in many states and President Bush will easily win the electoral vote and the popular vote (by over 3%!).
I am proud of Western Democracies such as Australia, Israel and the United States who have clearly showed that they support leaders who do not hesitate in the war against Islamic Supremacism and the mass murdering bastards from Al-Qaeda and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
For a site that was completely right on every single state, check out:

Human beings are such a sad and pathetic little hairless ape.

You’re absolutely right Randwolfe. Countries like Israel and people like David Melle remind us that we are ugly, violent, stupid beasts.
